Linqing Education System Visits Huagong Bearing for Research and Study on Industry-Education Integration
On August 7, a delegation of 70 people—comprising the leadership team of the Linqing City Education and Sports Bureau as well as Party secretaries and principals from schools directly under the city—visited Shandong Huagong Bearing Co., Ltd. in Yandian Town for an industrial research and study tour. Yang Yang, a member of the Yandian Town Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, accompanied the group, while Zhang Baozhong, General Manager of Huagong Bearing, provided a guided tour and explanations throughout the visit.
The research team visited Huagong Bearing’s intelligent production workshop, product showroom, testing laboratory, assembly room, and finished-goods warehouse. They observed the manufacturing process for high-end precision bearings and gained insight into the company's efforts regarding technological R&D, market expansion, talent development, and project implementation. As a representative enterprise in the Linqing bearing industry, Huagong Bearing has consistently invested in intelligent manufacturing; its high-end roller bearings achieve machining precision within the 1-to-2-micron range, and the company has built significant technical expertise in niche sectors such as wind power bearings. The research team commended Huagong Bearing’s initiatives regarding industrial transformation and upgrading.
The focus of this research visit was the integration of industry and education. The team concluded that the education system should enhance students' understanding of local industries by introducing industrial concepts and organizing social practice activities tailored to different educational stages. Yandian Town, home to thousands of bearing processing and supporting enterprises, offers abundant industrial resources that create an ideal environment for practical education. Through a site visit to Huagong Bearing, the team gained further insight into industrial development and talent requirements, gathering valuable information to help optimize the design of practical curricula.
The two parties exchanged views on collaborative education. Huagong Bearing expressed its willingness to provide schools with practical opportunities such as study tours and professional experience. The Linqing Municipal Education and Sports Bureau will also continue to build a docking platform to promote the implementation of the integration of industry and education.
